The range of Apex Tube printers has been especially developed in consultation with customers from around the world to provide the highest quality print capabilities, combined with ease of operation and the ability to handle short run production efficiently and economically.
There are many different types of printer available to suit every type of tube, both plastic and metal, from the very smallest, right up to lengths of 12" (304mm),and diameters up to 6" (152mm).
Apex have solutions offering production speeds as high as 600+ parts per minute, as well as machines which typically operate in speed ranges up to 200 parts per minute. The machine ranges cover applications from very "high tech lights out systems" for medical parts at one extreme, to simple hand fed semi-automatic machines at the other. Various print technologies including the new FlexApex™ system developed by Apex are available.
Model ranges C-40, C-50, C-500, C-506, C-900, C-9000 and C-9001 are all specially designed for tube printing across a wide spectrum. Rigid tubular items may also be handled and printed on our C-400 machine range.
Fast Changovers
In response to industry demand Apex have developed very high speed changeover capabilities for tube printing machines. With the Apex fast change systems it is possible to accomplish complete 6 color ink and plate changes, and be back up running in around 15 minutes. Just compare that with traditional printing machines and you will see huge downtime savings can be achieved in environments where shorter production runs are the norm.
